IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!!

Chicks (and other birds) will be available to purchase on the following Fridays; 2/15, 2/22, 3/1, 3/8, 3/15, 3/22, 3/29, 4/5, 4/4(only Thursday), 4/12, & 4/26 

*We are doing a 24 Hour Hold on all birds this season. This is being done in an effort to give these little babies time to rest before travelling to their new homes. Travelling is stressful and we want your birds to have the best chance at living long, healthy lives.

So Every Friday @ 9 AM birds will be available (First come, first serve) to purchase. We will give numbers if needed as chick customers arrive.

We will post to our Facebook and Website on each Thursday what birds arrived and will be available to purchase on that Friday.

There is still a 6 chick minimum on chickens. (Even if you have bought chicks from us in previous years)

4 minimum on Ducklings, Turkeys, and Guineafowl

We encourage our customers to buy their feed, grit, electrolytes, probiotics, and any other chick essentials you may need before Fridays, this will make getting your babies home faster on Fridays!

Save the Dates:

We will be doing a 24 Hour hold on all chicks this year! 

So, no chicks will be sold before 9 AM on Fridays.

This is to ensure they get the best start when you bring them home. 

Traveling can be stressful.

Suet was once something we stocked our backyard feeders with only in the winter months. Present day suet use is much broader - and more beneficial to birds. In spring, it meets the increased energy demands of nesting birds. In the summer months, it provides a good substitute for insect-eating birds, especially in years when insects are not very plentiful. In fall, suet helps wild birds store fat to prepare for migration or the coming winter. And of course, in winter, suet replenishes depleted stores of energy and nutrients, to help birds survive the long, cold months.

Suet (beef fat) attracts insect-eating birds such as woodpeckers, wrens, chickadees, nuthatches, and titmice.
